  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Has anyone noticed that when you switch from auto mode to vent only that the a/c continues to run. A/c light not on but cold air comes out of vents. Verified that compressor still running. It will only go off if you push a/c button to turn on light and then push again. Defect?

You are correct... I've can't say this has happened to me, but others have stated the same. Almost like you need to take the extra step to shut off the A/C.

You are correct. Push the A/C button ON, then OFF and the venting will work as designed. Make note that, the fan will still run trying to get the inside temperature to whatever temp you have set. Fan will go faster or slower. You can set the fan to run the slowest manually, but the temperature of the air will still try to get to the temperature that is set, even if you set the temperature to the lowest setting.
