  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Good evening to all,
I go by the handle Mcgilacdy, which is a long story that I won't bore you with, but I'm glad to make your acquaintance if we cross paths in the forums.
I am a recent owner of a 2021 G90 and enjoying it very much.

Welcome aboard, Mcgilacdy! And thank you for signing up. I'm glad you found us. Did you upgrade to the G90 from the Mini? That would be one heck of an upgrade!

I know right ! It's taken no small amount of adjustment, but I'm glad I made the jump.
Thx for the welcome.

The G90 is such a different experiences. Both cars are great in their own ways...

No kidding. I think you could probably fit two minis into one G90!

It is a rare person who would like both. Most people like large vehicles like the G90. A smaller number, including me, prefer smaller vehicles like the GV60P. It is rare to see the same person going from one to the other.

I was a reluctant driver of a BMW 5 series prior to owning my GV60P which is similar in size to a G80. What I liked about the GV60P was that it was small but still was luxurious and powerful. A hard combo to find. So I went back in size when Genesis produced something I really wanted. But you made an even bigger change.

So, I am curious @Mcgilacdy : what drove you to own a Mini and then to convert to a large, full sized, sedan?

Probably automobile enthusiasts as well - who might go from one extreme to another. Car lovers often like lots of different vehicles and that can point them in many different directions.
