  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Flashing ads in on the right side of this forum, is enough to make me not want to come here .......................

Am I the only one bugged by these flashing ads on the right side of the screen? --- I detect a loss of forum viewers. Maybe this is why.......

Nope, never see them. I contribute a few bucks to support the forum and the ads are eliminated.
Sal has to pay for the severs, software, and such and put time into it for our enjoyment. I'm willing to support it. No flashing ads.

I agree. We all owe a large thank you to Sal. No one can wave a magic wand and create and run a forum. Thank you Sal! :thankyouspin:

Thank you for the kind words, guys. I appreciate your understanding and support.

@Cut-Throat can you share a screenshot of the ads you're referring to? I'm not crazy about flashing ads myself - but even though I'm set to see all ads, I'm not seeing flashing images. So I'd like to see what it is you're seeing. Flashing ads can certainly be distracting...

Sorry about that! -- Upon detailed investigation, I found that it was not the Ads flashing but my scroll bar on the right side of the screen. I took a video of this, but cannot attach it. It looks like a streak of white light that is going from the bottom of my screen to the top. And looking further into this problem, it is only occurring on one of my laptops, and works fine on my desktop and other laptops. So, this is my problem and you don't need to pursue this. It does only occur on this Web Page however. Again, Sorry for the bother.

Thank you for letting me know. Such a strange sounding issue. I do hope you get it resolved on the one laptop...
