  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I am a new owner of a GV60. There is a headlight unit problem, so I called to have it fixed. They were happy to book me in.......for the 23rd April 2025. This is truely shocking, yes that is 4 months. What can I do, if anything?

I have a G70 with warning lights on was told earliest appointment July 2025. I actually work for Hyundai/Kia auto group, recommend Lexus to all I know until Genesis can offer services of a true luxury brand.

I really can't help you on this one, but let us know who the dealer is so we can be warned.

Ouch! Could be serious, depending on the issue. Lights out?
Any other dealers not too far away?
Only other suggestion, don't drive at night.

Thanks for responses. I just contacted the Genesis Service telephone number and a 4-month wait was their response. Should I contact a dealership direct?

Yes. Tell us where you are and what dealer is booking repairs 4 months out. Forum members may have some ideas for you if you give us more information.

Umm..the only thing I can think of is either check other dealerships in the area, or ask your service rep if they have a cancellation list that they contact..go "standby" if you wish..

I went direct to Guildford (Becky). She was incredibly helpful and I am booked in for January. Lesson learned
