  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

HI, anybody replace with the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus
tire , winter coming fast and the dunlop just not up to the job .. I am not happy with them in the rain and dont even want to think about it in snow , I love the car but I think they just cut cost on the tires ..3200 miles and ready to change . hate to spend the loot but want to enjoy the car all year long --LOL... is it worth the $1000. to change or should I let them wear down and change at 15000 miles I'm in nyc and need good tires stop and go on a dime thanks

I like mine.... Although I am about to put my set of Blizzaks for winter.

I will warn you though - You must rotate them every 4-5K. I put on 10K miles on 4-5 months not thinking to get them rotated - and now they vibrate. This is my fault however...just a word of caution. I am angry with myself for not doing it - because I basically ruined a $1000 set of tires.

Make sure to shop around and negoiate the price. I got mine with road force balancing, free replacement warranty and all for right at $1000.

I've got over 16,000 on my OEM tires and getting ready to go to Missouri for a week. My rear tires are showing some wear. I just hate to replace tires if they don't need it. If you think these tires are bad, drop by any of the Vette forums and read threads about the Goodyear Run Flats. Those are some negative posts.

I will be taking delivery with the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus because they are rated on tirerack (8.3) out of 10 as opposed to (5.7) for the OEM Dunlops and they are A/S good for light snow and rain, I will also have winter tires for Jan, Feb and March

These are also my choice. I stopped by Sears today and priced them at 190. They are a great winter tire for rain , slick roads and snow. Still unsure if I want separate rims.

I'm not sure what part of the country you are in, but you might want to wait till around Thanksgiving, or maybe black Friday weekend. Sometimes NTB (National Tire and Battery) runs a buy 2 get 2 free sale. And if they do, and you have a Discount Tire store near you, take the coupon/ad/deal from NTB over to Discount Tire and they will match it/beat it. Last year the only requirement to get the deal at NTB was to also purchase an alignment. Good luck on the search.

I've got a few thousand on my Pilot's. I get an annoying whine right at 80 mph, but I've been running these tires for years and love them.

Just ordered mine today and will be having put on tomorrow along with an alinement. Came very highly recommended. Can't wait. The stock tires were horrible.

Shutter.....Where did you purchase them and who is performing the install?

Wow is all I can say! I never thought I could be any more in love with my geni. Just had tires put on and drove 5 minutes down the road to dealership for alinement. It was like driving a totally different car!! I am even more in love I highly recommend these tires :))))

I ended up putting on the Brigestone Blizzak's 235/50r18 on yesterday at Firestone. This was one of the top 5 winter performance tire's but not as highly rated as Pilot's. I drove them home and was amazed the car handled better but with some road noise. Firestone said the Genny was in need of an alignment all away around finding that odd with only 6 thousand miles on the car. I will drop by the dealer next week for my 6 thousand mile oil change and get this done. I was surprised to have the vehicle handle better with the winter tires vs the dunlops.
