  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Well, I'm happy to report that the weights I was told were actually a little high. So I only weighed the rear 19x9.5's and they were 24.8lbs. So that's over 10lbs of rotational mass savings per wheel. For a wheel with this intricate of a design, I'm definitely happy with that. The finish is beautiful and I think will go perfectly with my Saville Silver exterior.

In terms of my method to weight the wheels I used my digital scale which I believe to be very accurate. Weighed myself first 3 times....got the same exact weight each time, then stepped on the scale holding the wheel 3x and got the same exact result each time, of course simply subtracting that weight from my original weight.

Can't wait to get them mounted up along with the new lowering springs. Here's a pic (Tried to upload more and better pics, but said file too large).

Those wheels are FIRE! Great choice and not bad on the weight for such a complex design, nice holiday boost there!

Those look great. Can’t wait to see pics mounted on the car.

That is very respectable. For street use, especially if the roads you typical drive on are rough, you might not want the lightest weight rolling stock. Particularly for 19's, trading a few lbs for a bit more robustness is preferrable.

That's awesome to hear! Saving over 10lbs of rotational mass per wheel is a significant improvement, especially with such an intricate design. It’ll definitely have a positive impact on performance and handling. The fact that the finish complements your Saville Silver exterior is a nice bonus. Your weighing method sounds spot-on, too, ensuring accuracy and confidence in the results. It's always satisfying when things work out better than expected, and it sounds like you’ve got a solid setup! Can't wait to see how it all looks once everything is installed.

Wheels installed, springs installed and Redline diff fluid change (as a precaution). Here is first pic.

Wow, just the perfect choice right there, and that wheel color is on point for sure, well done! What spring drop are you on, looks great too.

Thanks brother, I went with ARK GT-S springs. Its hard to capture how it looks in person with cell phone pics, but I call tell you I am super happy with how it looks. These wheels look amazing in person, and it, along with the lowering, transformed the car. It looks like a proper high end sports sedan now. I can't stop looking at it now.

In terms of the ride quality, at first I was like wow, no difference at all. Then when I was on the highway I notice a little more noise and very slightly more harshness which might only be a result of the slightly stretched tires, and also they inflated the tires more than they were previously, so honestly there is very little difference in ride quality, I was surprised!

kbreese72, looks great! I looked but did mot see that you listed the offsets. What did you end up with?

I agree with the others. You nailed it!

Car looks so much better with the new wheels and lowering springs.
Don't feel bad about the salt and chemicals on the car. Mine looks terrible as well. It's killing me. I gotta go through the touchless wash at some point soon.

Looks great, brother! How do you find the finishing quality on the wheels? And are these flow-formed?

Thanks brother. Yes, they are definitely flow-formed (flow forged) wheels. As soon as I picked them up I was like wow these are light! And they have a good weight rating too. Plenty strong. I'm on the Corvette Forum too, and a lot of guys have put these same wheels on C8's. I LOVE their spoke design and the coloring. Finish is very nice. They also have a design that makes them look bigger than they are with the spokes coming all the way to the end of the wheel and slightly protruding. Nice amount of concavity too. Also, I think the offsets are perfect as wheel. Very happy with them overall.
