  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 2022 GV70 - when I have the cruise set I’m having a regular issue. When there are no cars in front of me and I’m approaching a car in the left lane, it will slam on the brakes to keep me from avoiding a collision, but the lace is clear ahead of me. Is there a way to calibrate the cameras/sensors? There is nothing blocking the anything and nothing dirty. No real recent changes, but I did have a regular service appointment about a month ago and had the fuel system recall taken care of. It’s been happening since that appointment, but also could be a coincidence? Any of you have ideas?

Here’s a video of the issue with a view of the dash and the road:

Looks like the camera needs to be recalibrated by the dealer. Has the windshield ever been replaced?

Yes - about a year ago, but it only started happening since an interval service appointment last month. I’ll take it to the dealer and see what they can figure out about it.

My cruise control collision sensor started acting up after a snow storm last month. The cruise wouldn't work at all and the dealer just informed me the the plate is bent outside of specifications. I did not get into a front end collision but they said usually that is the cause. My guess is ice warped it, or I got backed into at a parking lot without my knowledge. Regardless the delete is quoting a price of over 2100 to fix it.

I'm actually getting the same error again now. Car gets looked at next week but I'm really hoping this is broken again. I can't even blame ice this time and I still have struck it bumped anything.
