  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

If anybody cares, Genesis of Colorado Springs has closed. No explanation was provided in the email I received today. This was the nearest dealer to me, though I sensed a "learning on the job" vibe there during two prior visits. They were going to perform the turbo oil line recall on my 2020 G70 3.3t, but it turned out that they didn't actually have the techs (or the bloody parts) to do the work. This, after I had taken the day off to cool my heals for 8 hours in their dumpy Hyundai-esque waiting room. They wouldn't/couldn't provide a loaner vehicle. Service desk employee Kaitlin was beyond inept when it came to synchronizing a customer's booked appointment with a FedEx parts arrival log and having someone on the clock to perform the operation. They seemed capable of an oil change or tire rotation or car wash but those basic tasks put them at their limit. I won't miss them; they deserved to fold. But what does their disappearance without warning from a (fairly) major city say about Genesis Motor America? BTW, I absolutely love my car.

That’s bad news. How far away is the next nearest dealer?

Looks like you will be having about a 3/4 of an hour to the nearest Genesis dealership. Not great but doable.

Phil Long Hyundai Genesis needs to be bulldozed. This is the same dealer whose sales manager a) tried to tell me that "they don't negotiate on price" while he was simultaneously negotiating on price on a different deal with my father in law two cubes over, and b) tried to pull a Yo-Yo Financing scam with my mother-in-law.

We leased our GV60 through Genesis of Littleton...I guess we will have to go up there.

Yes, I took my 3.3t there for the turbo oil line recall and they were very good. Knowledgeable, courteous and gave me a loaner which is more than I can say for Phil Long. Not close to me, but they're my go to now.
