Hi All,
I bought a 2015 Genesis from an auction, that I am going to fix and then use it for myself. Probably saved it from getting a being out car. Which would be really sad as the car is in a really good shape.
This is also my first salvage project that I am doing as I always dreamed about doing something like that back when I was living in Germany.
First thing that I am doing is changing the oil pressure switch, as the car is running smooth but the oil pressure light is on.
(But struggling with that as I can only lift the front side of the manifold even after taking out the two bolts on the back…)
After that I am starting with the rebuild.
Attached is a picture of the damage and the interpreter I gave it a clean.
I am really happy with this car, as I already had an eye on these Genesis’s when they first came out in 2015.
Best regards
