  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have grey rims on my GV70 and am looking to swap them with anyone who has black rims. The car has 8k miles on it and I will share photo's soon. If not, does anyone know how to get the black rims that aren't too expensive?

THXget them painted black. Should cost you around $175 a rim. Make sure they powercoat them & not spray paint them.

You can probably buy a set of aftermarket black rims for less than the cost of powdercoating. Don't forget the downtime and costs of having wheels off, tires off etc while you get the work done too.

I guarantee you cannot get a set of good quality wheels, nothing that comes even close to quality of OEM, for under $800. To get any wheel that comes close to the quality of a OEM, you need to get flow forged at least, and here in Cda, you're looking at $750 + per wheel. Powder coat your OEM wheels if you really want black (I am not a fan of all black wheels) if you want to save some $$.
