If you are military or veteran they will give you a discount off the $750. They did for me. the full touchscreen is outstanding. Had to work with tech on phone for settings and calibration but he was responsiveI paid $750 for the unit. Works pretty well. Really like the fact that our screens are touch screen after all.
Directions for disassembly of dash and so on are included in the boxHow did you figure out how to open up the dash and pull out the headunit?
Hi - I’m considering this kit for my G90. Can you describe the process off going into CarPlay mode from the console controller? Also, can you use the voice command button on the wheel to trigger Siri? Lastly, will the car’s infotainment unit remember the input from the previous drive and default to CarPlay the next time you turn the car on? Thx so much! You will need to remove the 2 trim panels above the radio. One is leather the other the wood one. Both use small cips and a few screws to remove. You will then need to remove the radio and it is a little more complicated. I placed all of the units above the dash compartment. The adapter for the back of the radio is the hardest part. You unplug the factory harness and use the adapter. There is very little room there so getting it routed is the hardest part. Assmebly is the reverse. Took me about an hour to do the install only because I knew how the panels came offf as I recently replaced my nav screen.
