  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Fragrance diffuser issues?

Same with my ‘25 GV80. At full intensity, the fragrance is barely noticeable, but it’s there. I was told by my dealer that this was by design. My GV80 Prestige came with the three fragrances all in a sealed box under the cargo area (where the nets were stored and other things).
When they run out, I don’t think I’m going to replace them since they are so weak.
Yes, something to consider! The fragrance cartridges are expensive, luckily my car came with the kit. I used to place a bath & body clip on scent, which I clipped on back of seat pocket in my SQ5 Audi and that worked for me to keep my car smelling nice. I think the fragrance cartridges will last a while before I use all of them.

My 2025 GV80 has the same issue. Zero functionality from the fragrance diffuser, even with new cartridges installed properly. What is more odd, my dealer cannot locate any part numbers, or even references to, the little box above the glove box that the cartridges sit in. They were going to attempt to replace it, but cannot find a part number. It's very odd. So now I have a useless button of the center console.
Did you get it to work? Removing the white paper on cartridge and then place the little spray icon on high and allow it to run on a/c level 3. It is very light, I have noticed it when going into car after it has been parked for a few hours and also more when you get close to vent and air hits face, you will notice it. While driving it is a random catch of the scent, it is not strong like perfume. Think of it as when the wind hits a scented flower or tree and you a get to smell it briefly, that is how the fragrance works in the car.

I bet all these issues are from people forgetting to take the sticker off.

I can’t imagine multiple cars not working. Simplest solution is most always the fix or explanation.

I took my expired ones apart with a utility blade. See below.
