WWP Exhaust for 15-16 5.0

Anyone on here running the WWP exhaust on EBay for the 5.0? It’s a cat back 2.5inch that runs about $400. If anyone is running it can you send me a sound clip or some feedback on it? Drone? Sound quality at cruise, etc.

I’m looking at buying it but don’t want drone.

Do you know if WWP offer such a system for the 4.6? I've recently thought about getting a custom exhaust to give my 4.6 a little V8 rumble, not too much drone on the highway.

There’s one for the 09-11 4.6l looks very similar to the 5.0 one. Only difference looks like tips and an xpipe on the 4.6 instead of the resonator that is on the 5.0.

I used this brand on my Veloster that I had about 6 years ago and durability wise it held up.

Custom would be the way to go honestly. For mine I’m looking for something to bolt right up, so I don’t have to Fabricate it, be slightly more aggressive, and give a power boost to offset my intake that I built.

Thanks, my 4.6 is 2012 model. After reading some more here, I'm thinking about just a muffler delete or some sort of more performance muffler.

Yeah. I would go with the performance muffler personally. The delete (if straight piped) will likely cause some pretty bad drone. If you remove the resonator make sure you replace it with an Hpipe, Xpipe, or dual in/out performance muffler to reduce drone at cruising speeds.

I ran true dual custom all the way back on my 85 and 87 vette and the drone in them was awful. I swapped my current true dual in my 85 to an xpipe and it helped ALOT

I was also looking at the WWP. I reached out to magnaflow asking about the old kit they used to offer. They said you could recreate it with part#11386 as the resonator and then part#12158 as the mufflers. I might go that route, not sure

Thanks for the info! I was looking at the wwp because straight bolt on to avoid fabrication. But might do a similar route to what you said above and go with Corsa Universal instead.

I installed one on my 15 5.0 last year and love it. Install was pretty easy with perfect fitment. Zero drone at all and it's very mild overall. There are times when you don't hear it all while cruising but it sounds great when you're on it.

Honestly I don’t mind it being quiet on cruise. I have a long drive to work 3 days a week. Thank you for the info!

I feel the same way. If I wanted loud and crazy I would have bought one of the American muscle cars.

This car balances everything so nicely between performance and luxury, and very reasonably priced.

Hahaha. Right! That’s why I have my Vette! Just want a little more but not wild. Again I appreciate the feedback!

Could you post a video? I would love to hear it. I might purchase based off your review. finding an exhaust that doesn’t drone is nearly impossible.

There is absolutely zero drone with this system. Overall quality I would give 8/10 with no real complaints. The gaskets were pretty crappy but other than that everything was great.

IMO it's the perfect exhaust for these cars. Not too loud but loud enough that it's noticable. At certain RPMs you can't even hear it but when opened up it sounds great.

I have one on my phone but literally does the car no justice. It sounds so much better in person and the phone just can't pick up what the ear does.
