  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My 23 sp consistently shows the outside temperature about 5 or 6 degrees higher than it actually is. Doesn't matter if the car is cold, or sitting in the shade, it's still off. Anyone know where the sensor is and how easy it is to replace?

In the driver's side view mirror assembly, and not easy at all. I don't even think they sell the part separately from the entire mirror assembly.

If I get a dealer to do it under warranty do they need to remove the door panel? Not in love with that as I don't want to introduce any creaks which will inevitably happen.

How are you measuring what the temperature actually is?

Numerous different apps and my 48 years on this earth.
Just my opinion here but I would think that a sensor right next to you would more accurately display what the correct temperature is right next to you than an app that shows the temp from a sensor much further away.
