  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

A couple of weeks ago I noticed that the usual "speed camera ahead" warnings (speed cams are like a cancer in my area) stopped. I checked my Genesis connected account, and all is good in all 3 sections. I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen, and what settings there are to check/change. Thanks!

The same has been reported on the Palisade forums in the past week. I recommend people use Waze & CarPlay or AndroidAuto (if supported by your year - if not - just run it on on the phone, mag-mounted to your dash). It is a far superior and more dynamically updated resource, anyhow.

Appreciate the reply. I prefer not to use CarPlay and, especially for local driving, I don’t use Waze. I’d like to understand why the car stopped alerting. Anyone have an explanation?

A new school zone camera system was activated this month on SE 10 St in Deerfield Beach, system now reports camera area ahead. it actually came on before the system was powered up.

I just noticed this for my GV80 this week. Mine stopped after an audio software update specifically for the maps feature. Did you ever get an answer?

Mine started working again, for no apparent reason I can figure; I am not aware of any additional software updates.

The OTA updates have been occurring over the last several days. And the update tool is now active for thumb drives too. Maybe you got an update and didn’t know it?

I received a map and navigation update, 2 separate updates, over the last couple days.

I always have Waze on so didn’t notice the speed cameras not not working. Was on i270 and I70 too when they have some on the route.

I'm in the DC area too. There are cameras now on 270 and 70? Where are they?
