  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Is there any way to PM/DM you?
I'm in California where the Lemon Laws are clear and unambigious. I'm sure there's a way to send a private message in the Forum. I've never done a DM personally but most forums have this ability

Hyundai/Genesis repurchased my car after I filed a Lemon Lawsuit over this issue
I wonder if your incident has anything to do with the fact that the facial recognition feature has been completely removed from all trim levels on the 2026 GV60 models (including the Magma). The feature is simply gone now. It still has fingerprint access though. Here's a picture I took of the B-pillar of a 2026 Performance GV60 on the show floor of the LA Auto Show on Thursday. If you look closely, you can see that the camera isn't there. I did confirm this with booth personnel.

It's also missing from the Magma model.

I'm not surprised. This is tricky tech at best. Apple seems to have mastered it but it takes quite a bit of processing power and makes the car wiring and programming that much more complicated. I know that I was not the only one who had this issue and at the end of the process it was clear that Genesis had no clue how to fix it it. They eventually blamed it on crimped wiring and voltage fluctuations but I'm pretty sure they still have no clue why it wouldn't work effectively all the time. The good news is that the system has been good in my wife's 2024 GV60P for 18 months now.
The fingerprint is easier. Our new AMG EQE has fingerprint recognition in order to recognize the presets for a particular driver and so far that works well.
