  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Florida recently made a new law for license plate frames. Many cover parts of the plate and now are illegal, however, a simple border is still OK

as of October 1, 2025, most license plate frames and covers are illegal in Florida if they obstruct any part of the plate, including numbers, letters, the word "Florida," or the registration decal, making them a second-degree misdemeanor with potential fines and jail time, though enforcement priorities are currently focused on education. You can only use frames that fit entirely within the border and don't cover any plate detail

I hate the "dealer advertisement" frames anyway.
I always take them off, turn them around and put them behind my tag.
They provide some additional support and rigidity, and a bit of insulation, between tag and car body, and they put a nice black border around the plate without blocking any thing info-wise.
YMMV!
