Should CD or iPod pause with incoming call?

Should the CD or iPod pause with incoming call? In my car, when I receive an incoming call, the audio on my CD or iPod is muted, but it is not paused. So if I am on a long call, I miss some of the songs on my CD/iPod. The lack of pausing is especially inconvenient when I am listening to an audiobook. I could not find in the owner's manual if the system is supposed to pause or not. Any suggestions?

It should pause, but mine doesn't. I think it's a feature, not a bug.

Same with mine... it does not pause CD, DVD or iPod or USB chip.

Should it? Yes. Is it designed to do so in the Genesis? No, alas...

I do wish that were a feature on the Genesis, my previous vehicles had that and I miss it.
