My OIL indicator light came on and like most of these posts state, it is only happening when the car is idling. I did call Hyundai service and the service tech said they aware of this issue happening with the oil pressure sensor switch. My car has 71K miles on it and is a 2019. Purchase my car as a pre-owned vehicle in 2021 from a Hyundai dealership. When I asked is this was covered under the powertrain warranty he is no, since I am NOT the original owner the warranty is only 5 years and 60k miles.
Can anyone verify that is true? I bought the car because of the 10year 100K warranty. Not happy!

Welcome! Just noting that this topic has been moved out of the community lounge and into the Genesis G80 forum.

It's even worse that that. Even if you did have the 10Y/100K powertrain warranty, it does not cover the oil pressure sensor. (The powertrain warranty does not transfer to 2nd owners, except on certified cars.)
