  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Is anyone having issues with seat position when switching drivers. When I sign into my profile, Driver 1, my wifes seat position 2 is loaded. The only way I have found to correct this is by pressing the driver 1 button on the door. Same when she drives, Driver 2, my profile is loaded. Please help. Thank you !

If you do a search, this can be a highly confusing topic. Those aren't specific driver buttons. Each Profile gets 2 memory buttons (you get 2, and your wife gets 2).
Make sure you switch Profiles BEFORE each driver sets each of the 2 memory buttons (maybe 1 is for city driving, while 2 is for the highway; whatever, the choice is yours, but both are yours, and both are for your wife as well. Your Profile determines which to use). Your wife will need to follow the same process for her 2 memory settings AFTER she switches to her Profile.
After you get in and start the car, choose your Profile, and the car will use whichever of the 2 memory buttons that driver used last. If you want the other memory setting, then select it on the door (but wait for your Profile to load), and the car will use that one from then on until you change it.
I hope this helps.

Go into your car's main settings menu, not the door button. Look for Profiles or Driver Profiles. In there, unlink each key fob from the profiles and then re-link them correctly. Your fobs are mixed up.

Unless the G70 is the only one that does or this is a brand new thing, Genesis FOBs don't determine the Profile of the driver.

Most Genesis cars don't link physical key fobs to driver profiles. You select the profile manually.
The newer digital key feature on some models can do this automatically, but regular key fobs don't.
