Wings for the key fob

New to the forum...SIAP. Do they make a genesis wings emblem for the key fobs? I noticed they are just stickers and wondered if anyone had replaced them with the wings emblem. Thought it would be pretty neat. Thanks!

Try searching. I don't think I saw a replacement fob, but someone once posted a fob "case" - it looked sort of like a pouch, and had the Genny wing on it.

Tried searching. Found a couple of threads but they all quickly turned into debates of whether or not to de badge.

I wouldnt think it would be very hard to make some sort of thicker sticker this size with the genesis wing emblem to replace the flying H.

I also never saw any mention of the pouch......

do you still use the buttons through the leather? I guess you just have to remember the location. Too bad they dont make the other ones that have the button descriptions stamped into them with the genesis logo on the other side.

Seems pretty pricey for a little leather cover....

Otoh, most never take the key out of their pockets. Do that and nobody will see H or wings.
A non-pricey solution.

I bought this - IMO it's a waste of money. You can't operate the buttons through the case - it's too thick,and it's also bulky. To access the buttons you have to swivel the fob out of the case, press your button, and swivel it back into the case. It's a total PITA. I'm still using mine, but I suspect one day I'll get aggravated enough to toss it in a drawer and forget about it. I'm sorry I spent the money.

I wish I knew someone who was in the graphic design, or signage business. I do not think this would be hard to make just the sticker to replace the flying H. It would have to be of a thicker plastic but I think it would be cheap, easy, and look the best.

What do you say?

I couldn't find the wings but I tried using a di-noc wrap - makes the key fob look different. Here are 2 pics.

Thanks. Took the key fob apart and then some sanding, a hair dryer, and razor. A lot of patience and about one hour.

OMG... I totally thought about that!

I was actually thinking of slapping a "Wing" emblem on the top of the cover, and right below it, I was gonna find a "5.0L" emblem. Didn't see a Genesis 5.0 rear emblem anywhere on the web though - and the Mustang ones don't match.

I think it would look nice with the "V8 GDi", no?

By the way, I saw a picture of a Korean key fob - it had the wings on it. How can we order Korean parts, folks???

Anyone aware of a source for a Genesis Winged key chain? Saw a few nice key chains out there but they all had the flying H on them.
