GPS data base update

I am driving a 2010 with the touch-sceen GPS interface. My dealer is having a tough time determining how to order the data-base update. Why? I go to https://www.mapnsoft.com/Default.asp and enter my VIN and find that the update is available.

I would like to know how to check what version of the Map your Genesis has and what version is available. Anyone know these 2 pieces of info.

If you go to the web site mentioned in this thread, there is an update for both the touch screen and non touch screen. I have no idea if it is a free warranty update or if we have to buy it. Anyone know?

It's not complimentary, its an upgrade that requires you to pay
