  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Average age of driver

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I like the fact that the Genesis is drawing attention from younger buyers.
It's a very handsome vehicle, and there's no age limit for liking nice cars. :)

58 here.

Some "youngsters" have been pulling the averages down since I posted the numbers last year (11 new ages have been reported).

Again...for all you statisticians:

46.9 = average age (down from 50.3)
47.5 = median age (down from 53)
80 = oldest (no change)
16 = youngest (down from 18)
17.5 = standard deviation (no change)

We're modal at 28, with secondary modes at 40 & 53 (we had been bi-modal at 28 & 53, with secondary modes at 40 & 68)

You're a "normal" Genny owner (w/i 1 standard deviation) if you are between about 29 & 65.

Add me to the abnormal category, and let me raise the average a tad. I'm 67.

I'm 50 when I'm driving to Orlando, and I'm still 50 when I'm driving back to Columbia SC. My Genesis is two days old, I think I will keep it.

Let's adjust it once more...I'm 50 in Portland

Work for Mobis, got the A plan. 24 yrs old. Awesome car. Senior managers are jealous!

by my birth certificate I am creeping up on 43! My mind tells me I am 32-ish; my body tells me I am 79 every "mourning"......

love driving my Genny though. Every moment with "her" is a treasured memory. wait what was the question?...... Oh, well don't tell my wife.

This is a very interesting post. I am 26 and am looking at getting a 2010 V8 once I can get one used for under 30k.
To me it seems when the younger crowd is going to spend a lot on a car (30k+ is a lot) they usually buy a sports car, truck, or a more mainstream recognizable car like Escalade.

I'm 35

Just got my Genesis V8 4.6 - Dark Blue

Wow, soooo awesome!!
