  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Yesterday I got a phone call indicating that Hyundai was recalling the Equus to fix a problem with a sticking fuel filler door. I've had a problem with the door on three occasions (took at least a dozen pushes of the button to get it to release so that I could fuel the car), but I appreciate the fact that they called about it. I was just going to mention it at my first service...

Mine stuck a week ago, been fine since. Nice to know it isnt just me.

Currently on a 2600 mile road trip, will write a report when finished.
Thx for the info, Cliff.

Yes please provide us with a review. The morons over at autoblog.com wrote that both front seat passengers experienced severe lower back and leg pain on their long term test of the car due to the lack of support from the seat cushions and backs.

I've made two reasonably long trips in the Equus, and have found it to be the most comfortable car I've ever driven. Great leg support, comfortable back support... All was wonderful. And I have some problems with leg pains due to a negative reaction to Zocor that caused some muscle damage in my right leg, so I'm very sensitive to prolonged time in an uncomfortable seat.

Took the Equus to Ed Voyles--it took them 90 seconds to do the adjustment. They said they'd email me the paperwork because it would take longer to complete it than it took to do the repair. Can't ask for better service!
