My GPS has worked fine until today, when it started displaying my position about 50 or so miles off the true position. Traveling with the moving map on, it seems as though sometimes I would be moving through offroads, or even across bodies of water, and when I would approach a road on the map, my position would "snap" to that road, which unfortunately would still be an incorrect road since as mentioned the position is off by some 50 miles or more.
I have been having problems with my XM due to a faulty antenna/connector, and the dealer has been working to resolve this issue (the dolphin tail antenna on the roof has already been replaced, but the dealer is waiting for the connector part to come in) - not sure if its related.
Does anyone have any idea of what might be the issue and if there is a quick fix before I add this to my dealer's to-do list?
