  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So for everybody who's rebadged the only items that still have the lazy H are the engine emblem and your key fob. I'm looking into having emblems manufactured for the key fob to stick over the current lazy H. I can only do this in bulk so wanted to gauge the interest here. If I order them I will probably post them on ebay for $5 for a set of 2. If anybody knows where these already exist, let me know and save me alot of trouble.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I'm thinking this is the one for korea car owners? But if you can get it looking like this, then it would be perfect.

Hopefully there is a stick on available eventually!

I'm in! my wife just asked me about that the other day. Please keep me informed!

Wow, DominicJE, where did you find that? Can it be ordered?

I found it from searching Google, also your link isn't working. But yeah 120 wouldn't be really worth it since not many people will see it but you unless you get robbed. But if it was in a more legit price range then I would consider it.

If you get the KDM key fob, your dealer will charge you a hefty sum to reprogram it. I forgot the amount, but I believe that some dealers are charging well over $100 to reprogram them, either HMA or KDM versions (unless you buy the key fob from the dealer, and it that case the reprogramming cost is built into the price).

But that is not the only 'H' that you will need to replace:

  • The Owner’s Manual. This should be simple--just get the KDM Owner’s Manual and learn to read Korean.
  • Your insurance card. - You (or some nerdy person you may know) should be able to hack into the computer system of your insurance company so it prints out Genesis as the make and BH460, BH380, etc as the model on your insurance card.
  • Your auto registration. - Same as your insurance card, but maybe a little trickier and a little more dangerous since there are going to be severe criminal penalties for hacking into a government computer system. But this is surely a small risk to endure for the possibility of expunging the last traces of the 'H' from your life, so you will no longer have to live in shame.

Just buy an Equus!
The fob comes with the Equus Wings:cool:

I'd like to have one and would pay the $5 to $10 for it, but right now I'm trying to find the deluxe wood/ (black)leather genesis steering wheel (tech pkg) and without having to take a 2nd mortgage out on my house or going broke trying to buy it. Got any ideas?

I'm waiting for samples to arrive in the mail so I can decide what material is best for they emblem. The concern that I originally had is that the emblem would be a little raised and was not sure if that would be an annoyance. The alternative is a flatter one which is one of the samples. I just need to make sure the flatter one is sturdy enough.

bamson9448,

I can help you with the steering wheel you want. The one I'm talking about is this.
I can get it for you for slightly cheaper. PM me for more details.

Heated?

The 2012 Genesis 3.8 Tech Package, and 5.0 versions sold in Canada both come with a "Wood Trimmed and Leather Wrapped Heated Steering Wheel". I believe that earlier model years in Canada also had heater steering wheels also, but not sure if they are compatable with US models (not sure how the heat is activated).

In for two key FOBs.

I'm in for two.

Also, don't forget about all the glass you would have to eplace, as it all has the flying H on them.
