There's still - and always will be - a market for soft sprung, roomy, quiet, comfortable, luxurious cruisers... With the Genesis being a luxury sport sedan, there's an opening for a truly luxurious, front wheel drive luxury sedan that's as smooth as a Lexus LS or traditional Cadillac/Lincoln.
Being the owner and operator of a VERY large/busy Cadillac community, I see plenty of potential for a vehicle like this in the United States. The Cadillac Fleetwood has been gone for over a decade. The Lincoln Town Car is about to take it's bow.. So here's Hyundai's opportunity to come in and steal all these customers who have nowhere else to go.
Lexus LS? Maybe - but far more expensive than Cadillac and Lincoln owners are used to. The next Hyundai Azera should grow a bit, become as quiet as the Genesis, add some basic luxury features - maybe not everything the Genesis has - keep it fairly simple, and be very competitive price-wise.. It should also remain front wheel drive...
Any thoughts?
