FS: Continental ContiProContact tires A/S - SOLD

Anyone interested in buying my Continental ContiProContact tires? Size is the 235 45 19 (OEM R Spec tire).

Only 2,000 miles on the tires! I'm looking to replace these tires with a summer compound, which is my reason for selling these. Send me a PM if interested. Around $900 new....I'll do half that. That's a steal

Anyone in the tri-state area pick up or delivery can be arranged to avoid shipping costs.

if no shipping is involved, I would sell tires for $300. Remember, these tires are like new, and not heavily worn and I can take actual pictures of my tires if requested. My Genesis is currently stored for winter in my garage with car cover on it and car is parked on vinyl tiles to keep the rubber off the concrete.

Yup, still have tires. I can check for you over the weekend with UPS. Since It's just tires and no wheels, that will save a lot of weight and bring the shipping price down. Hopefully tomorrow I can swing over to ups store.

EDIT - Called my local UPS store and the shipping would run about $275 to the 76544 zip code if that's your zipe code for your section of Fort Hood. OR....if they can ship the tires as is, no packaging for about $40/tire = $160 for all 4 tires, but UPS said that if something damaged the tires enroute, they would likely not cover the damages.

If you sell the tires-try to find boxes to fit them or at least strap a pair of tires together. When tires are not in boxes-UPS considers them an irregular size and bills extra for each one. As far as damage- that's a snowballs chance in h e double hockeysticks. lol FWIW

Any idea where to find that perfect box? Last time I shipped wheels and tires, I used the boxes that the wheels and tires I purchased came it. Wish I had the same boxes again

I would find a local TireRack.com installer, and ask them if they have any tire boxes. Some other local tire retailers may also have them.

I just got new tires yesterday on my other car, I'll give them a shout today and see if they have any boxes. Thanks for the tip Mark.

EDIT - Just spoke with discount tire and they said they wouldn't have boxes big enough for a 19 inch tire since all of their boxes are for shipping 18" wheels (and smaller sizes).

However, they did say that they have shipped out thousands of tires and NEVER use boxes. They tape two tires together and save a lot of money on shipping. The manager said he never has experienced a problem shipping tires this way. His example was that tires take massive amounts of pressure just being on you car, and shipping tires this way was not an issue.

Just to be clear, these are ONLY tires for sale, and not a wheel and tire combo.

These tires on tirerack are right around $950 (with shipping) for a set of 4 before the cost of mounting and balancing from an installer.

This is a great deal considering I'm charging $300 and they are "new" with only 2000 miles on them.

Looking for front bumper and grill, front headlights and rear tail lights for 2012 Genesis R-Spec. Also would appreciate any guidance in methods to dissassemble lights to replace plastic outer lens.
