any VIP Genesis's here?

anyone trying to VIP there Genesis out? Put some crazy offset wheels and lower there car to the ground? Been lurking for a year and haven't seen any VIP Genesis...

Have my car lowered with staggered rims but nothing like a full VIP treatment with crazy offsets.

I think that the real hard part is lowering the car. There isn't anything available off the shelf right now other than maybe some lowering springs. I have coilovers on my car but 1 of only 2 sets made by the manufacturer.

It would require some custom work and maybe installing an air suspension like they use in those videos. I think that option is available in the Korean market for the Hyundai's from the factory but not here. One of the other forum members was installing one if I remember correctly but I think he was doing it for the ride and not to adjust the height.

I sense that most of the people in the Sedan forum are probably casual drivers looking for an everyday driver so chances are it will be a while until you see something around here.

Yea I waited over a year for ARK coilovers to come in and never did and now I'm waiting on a set of KSPORTS. I contacted a company that can put my car on air but its $$$$$$$. If the ksports don't work out I'll be doing the air route. I've been waiting over a year to put some 20's on but don't want to do it until I drop the car.

I've been trying to find a suspension I like for my '10 Genesis and not going well (without bagging)

One thing I have found it that this site is very anti-VIP sytle

Yeah... I agree that this thread isn't too keen on VIP or murdered-out looks and such. We're an older crowd.

I think most folks who buy the Genesis are looking for the "Premium Sedan" look and feel, and not the VIP style. I find the Genesis Coupe, however, does in fact attract that crowd a lot more.

Regardless... I can still appreciate that sort of thing, and often check out the Korean Genesis sites for little gems such as the ones I've posted in this thread.
