matte black paint job on my '09 4.6 FINALLY

finally had the time to link up with a friend that owns a shop to help turn my plain badged black 4.6 into something beautiful and one of a kind.

I will be updating this thread after my detailing is done this Saturday morning with more pictures of the car from all angles. But for now i was so excited today that i got it back that i had to snap a quick picture of the back.

What was painted matte black:
-back emblem
-back side front chrome moldings
-window parameter

also, removed "Genesis" and just kept the 4.6 emblem, and smoked out the backlights and side mirror turn signal markers.

i am super happy that my imagination finally became a reality. my friend talked me into matte blacking all the moldings at first i just wanted emblem and front grill but i'm super glad i listened. i still think it holds the integrity of the car and still carries the luxury feel.

after the detail, full body shots coming from all angles. Just wanted to share since i've been a part of this community since '09 and finally i have something awesome to show you all.

that's actually a good idea, i never thought about that. but also to be said, i'm not going to black out my rims, i kinda like it how the entire car is black but the rims are still stock. still holds the integrity.
