  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I am a VERY happy owner of a pre-owned 2011 Hyundai Genesis Sedan 4.6. This car continues to impress me every day on its features, options, appearance, and build quality. I was trying to decide between the G37 Sport Sedan versus the Genesis sedan. After reading reviews and sitting in both cars, I have no doubt I made the right choice.

I'm glad to be part of this forum! Go hyundai!

Pride purchasing Korean? How so?

I took pride in my quality selection, but no took joy whatsoever that it was made abroad.

I don’t consider the Infiniti G a competitive model to the Genesis only in price and I guess that’s why people compare the two often. The G is a 3 series competitor and the dimensions and ride quality substantiate that. I consider the M class more of a better compare but of course the price is considerably higher. So the value of the Genesis becomes much more apparent. I agree with PMCErnie I wish it was made here. (I wish they were all made here) Enjoy your ride it’s a very nice car.

Isn't HMA headquarters and $60 million dollar Hyundai Research/Test Facility located in Southern California?

In addition to the existing Hyundai footprint in the Souther California, Hyundai Motor America broke ground this spring on a 419,000-square-foot headquarters in Fountain Valley, Calif. The building will cost $150 million, and is scheduled to be completed by the fall of 2013.

I love the internet.

All the more money to ship back home to Korea. Pride? No, not for the USA & Canada. Admiration perhaps. Pride no.
