  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2012 $2,000 price hike for a vehicle with no major changes from 2011?? Come on Hyundai! The 2013 Lexus ES350 is completely redesigned for 2013 and the price has held the same as the 2012.

I think it's a $250 price hike...not $2K. There were some changes from 2011 to 2012, namely a 5.0L V8 and 8spd tranny and nearly 40+hp more. I'll grant you that the jury is still out on the tranny...not exactly ZF shifting quality.

Although a great value, Hyundai realizes there's price sensitivity issues with the marque since they just introduced it stateside. The Equus has been around for some time in the Korean Domestic Market (KDM).

Not only is it a modest $250 price hike from as already stated, the drivetrain on the 2013MY ES basically stays the same and Toyota decontented the base model of the ES (no longer comes w/ standard leather seats, among other things, so it is a price-hike when accounting for what had previously been standard equipment).
