Ouch! My G80 was $1200 to replace evap coil. Took 2 days to get the part, 3 days to do the job.Had the same AC issue. Mine was fortunately under warranty since the dash had to come out to access it and it would have cost around $3000. My dealer had it in stock so i had it back in 2 days, waiting 30 days is absurd. I hope you're not in a hot climate like i am.
It's one of those issues where the actual fix doesn't take long but getting to it does.Ouch! My G80 was $1200 to replace evap coil. Took 2 days to get the part, 3 days to do the job.
Ouch, think the part is about $300 but the dash has to come out to replace it.Just had mine replaced out of warranty. $2400 was the final price. Took a day for the work and about 4 days to get the part.
The system also has to be vacuumed down and refilled, and R1234yf is expensive.Ouch, think the part is about $300 but the dash has to come out to replace it.
True but I think the refrigerant is roughly $100. It's big labor job.The system also has to be vacuumed down and refilled, and R1234yf is expensive.
That's ridiculous, considering this is a common issue with all Genesis GV model AC Evaporators.Just had mine replaced out of warranty. $2400 was the final price. Took a day for the work and about 4 days to get the part.
I'm not sure where you get your info, but it is certainly not just a problem with the GV models. That's ridiculous, considering this is a common issue with all Genesis GV model AC Evaporators.
