beep

Hi all. Question please: I know the front parking indicators have a volume control for the beeping sound. It appears the blind spot rear indicator beeper does not have volume control. Is that right or am I missing something? Love the feature, but would like it at a little less volume...

Today I noticed that when I lock the doors the car doesn't beep. When I unlock the doors it does beep. The car usually beeps for both. I'm clueless as to why it would just stop all of a sudden. Any help or advice would be great. Thanks
