Is it possible to put a 2012 rear bumper on a 2011?

Has anyone any preferences on either of these?

I have a 09 Genesis Sedan that has the chrome started bubbling up off the chrome trim on the rear bumper (driver side). Does anybody know if the chrome on the sides of the bumper can be replaced easily? Does anybody have instructions on how to fix/replace this? Thanks -b
