Please can any one tell me what are these signs (1,2) on my Genesis mirror? And how they operate?

I have a 2013 Genesis with the premium and tec packages. When the car is put in reverse the outside mirrors fold down to see the ground. Is there any way to turn this feature off, so that the mirrors just remain stationary? Thanks, Mike

I tried to do a search first but didn't find any information on it or missed it... Is there a way to make the Key Fob not unlock all the doors when using it to unfold the mirrors? It seems to me their software engineers would have simple things like this figured out by now, one long key press...

Anyone know if the mirrors will automatically Fold in when you put the car in park and fold back out when in drive or reverse? I didn't think this was possible so I think mine have an issue as they fold in half the time when I put the car in park and they don't half the time. Thanks.

These will be new to on my 2012 as my 2010 did not have them. Can you program them to close when engine is shut down or something like that?

Hi all, I'm looking to get auto dimming outside mirrors for my 2010 3.8 tech/premium Genesis. I know this is standard on the V8 models but is it possible to get them for the V6? Is there a size difference in the V8 mirror vs. V6?....I would think the wiring is already there since the mirrors...

I have a base 2012 V6 sedan. The manual says the mirrors should flip down on Reverse (yes I know the switch position not being in the middle). Is this feature just a Premium pack feature? Is it gone on the 2012's? Because for sure it does not work on my car.

Just joined tonight. I have a new 2011 4.6 (great car!) and cannot find anything in the manuals pertaining to shutting off the auto tilt on the outside mirrors when I place the transmission in reverse...any input?

I can't seem to get all three of these into memory though I have read the manual carefully. When I press start the steering wheel goes into place. If I press 1 on the memory the seat moves into place, but I thought this was supposed to happen when I pressed the start button. Any ideas? Thanks.

For no apparent reason my rear view mirrors stopped tilting down when I go into reverse. Rear camera is still working just mirrors stopped tilting down. I had become accustomed to this feature as it really helps when backing out of the garage. Oh well I'm off work tomorrow I'll try to get it to...

Does anyone know of any Korean venders that carry the power folding side mirrors for the Genesis Coupe? The Korean version of the car comes with these mirrors, so I would think that some vender has access to them. Anyone? :confused:

I just got my Genesis 3.8 with the Premium and Nav packages. I traded my 2008 Azera Limited for it. Surprisingly, my Genesis does not have the power folding side mirrors, a feature that I liked on my Azera because of the tight fit in my garage. Is this feature available on the Genesis?

Can anyone tell me if the side mirrors tilt down when put in reverse?
