I had an eye openning experience to tires the other day. Unkown to me, my performance tires are shot. I have 20,000 miles on my Genesis V8 and low and behold the tires are worn. Is this true of all tires of this type. I am looking at $1,000 for new ones. Thanks!

I just had Discount Tires do my first rotation at 6,120 miles and asked them to measure the depth. They were all very near 8/32's which equates to 3/32's wear and an expected life of somewhere around 18,000-20,000 miles depending on how nervous I get when the wear gets down to 2/32's. I asked...
