All of my reading on this topic says NO. The online configurator also says NO. It seems Genesis chose to use the standard rims for AWD. Some have suggested this may have to do with the staggered sizing of the 10-spokers affecting AWD. But the Sport seems to handle it ok with the 5-spokers (also staggered sizing). Is there an option in the US to get the 19" polished 10 spoke rims with AWD? Same rims for Elite and Prestige in RWD.
Staggered does not affect RWD based AWD cars. Only FWD based AWD cars. All of my reading on this topic says NO. The online configurator also says NO. They changed the configurator. When it first debuted I built one with Prestige, AWD and it put the 10 spokes on. I had never gone back. All of my reading on this topic says NO. Affect the handling? Could you explain? Thanks!Staggered does not affect RWD based AWD cars. Only FWD based AWD cars.
Thank you for correcting those who suggested that... What is your guess as to the reason for not allowing the 10-spoke rims with AWD?Staggered does not affect RWD based AWD cars. Only FWD based AWD cars.
Just packaging. In Canada the 2.0T Prestige AWD comes with staggered wheels!Thank you for correcting those who suggested that... What is your guess as to the reason for not allowing the 10-spoke rims with AWD?
Don't recall exactly. Used to be a big discussion on the Acura boards. But I believe it has something to do with the bias and overall grip.Affect the handling? Could you explain? Thanks!

Counter point to your counter point is that 225 is too skinny for max traction on this car especially on the V6 on the rear wheels especially. Perfect for winter but not summer.Just a counterpoint, I was set with 18'' tires from the beginning because it's totally sufficient for this car imo for my climate. 19'' will ride rougher generally and not protect the rims as well against potholes, leading to some expensive repairs - these wheels are expensive to replace. If I was in CA/TX/FL, 19'' would be ok to use but a gamble imo for northern parts of the country.
As for the 20 spoke rims, I actually started to like it more than the 10 spoke especially as it contrasts nicely with my white paint. Looks awesome to me, I don't think you get dark 10 spoke wheels with the G70.View attachment 17647
I test drove a AWD with 19" polished 10 Spoke rims in Auburn, MA a couple weeks ago (car is currently listed on their website) but they were on the 2.0T. Listed on the Monroney as the Dynamic Package: 19" Alloy Wheels with Michelin PS4 Summer Tires, Limited-Slip Differential (RWD only), $1,000.00. If you want them on the 3.3T they only appear to be available on the RWD versions. Is there an option in the US to get the 19" polished 10 spoke rims with AWD? Same rims for Elite and Prestige in RWD.
Can't believe they make these wheels available on a 2.0T AWD but not a 3.3T. Seems like a missed opportunity.I test drove a AWD with 19" polished 10 Spoke rims in Auburn, MA a couple weeks ago (car is currently listed on their website) but they were on the 2.0T. Great for oversteer but not all out traction!
Since it is 8" wide, you have the option to upsize to 245 at a later point!

I agree the dark contrasts nicely with the white, I am looking at the Adriatic Blue and am looking for the same contrast using the 10 spokes.
One of the better pictures of that color I've seen.I agree there are trade offs, and for myself I'd take the extra comfort and less tire noise over extra traction. I'm sure those who do more spirited driving on a frequent basis would benefit from the wider tires. I mostly commute in mine with a few launches now and then. Good that we have options for both!
Adriatic blue is my 2nd most favorite color on this car. It looks so suave, would've gotten it had I not had a blue car before the G70. But yes, I forgot that the polished 10 spoke would contrast nicely with adriatic blue or black. That'd be a nice combo!
