  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello

New to forum as I've been eyeing a 13-14 R Spec for sometime now. After extensive research I still have some concerns.
Stalling.... is this a CPS issue alone? Read quite a few instances of this happening to owners with very low mileage. Read that this is occurring on the MY15 as well.
Oil consumption, burning.... isolated to 12 only? I know a little con. is normal for a V8.
Really love the looks of this car. Yes, some say it's Lexus styling ques are there, but it appears to have a raked stance more so than Lexus, perhaps a more lowered height as well.
Not fond of dashboard styling, but I can live with it.
I'm coming from Saab. 05 9-5 Aero sedan which I loved. 32 mpg, midrange boost pull all day long, and reliable as heck. 2.3 engine.... easy to work on, and that Swedish engineering just worked for me.
But it's time for a change to a bigger more cruiser like auto. I'd like to get the 3 stage exhaust installed on this as well if I find one suitable. Thanks for input....

where have you seen stalling being an issue? I will say, if I ever slow down quickly to make a very hard U-turn and punch it mid turn...the car is not happy. it will basically kill the power until I have the steering wheel straight then HOLD ON!
I love my 2013 Rspec (80,000) miles worth. I would only like a 2014 because there were a few more colors (I have white now...kinda boring)
I just checked my oil after 4,000 miles and it is right at the top line still
Car runs like a champ and I get compliments often. Especially after a nice freeway onramp blast to 90mph...give or take in just a few seconds!
