  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

1400 miles - looking for feedback

if this is the case then this sound like they have spring rate issues, maybe a lower spring rate would fix this issue.

My 09 V6 drives exactly the same as you describe. It is not a pleasant experience. The one thing I will say is I drove recently with 4 people on board with a full trunk and it was slightly better than without the extra weight.

Hazelwood7: From post #11:

"Regarding tire pressure, I'm at 30 psi. That was one of the first adjustments I made based on forum research."

Had my first service. Underwhelming. I'll post more later.

In that case, learn to live with it or dump the car. I think you will get used to it and don't focus on it too much. I think the 2010 suspension is good enough.

I'm learning to live with it. I've been focusing on the things I like about the car, so I'll most likely be getting a ticket or two and may suffer minor hearing loss courtesy of Lexicon. I absolutely love the way it allows you to effortlessly undertake people going 65 in the left lane. It gets up to 80-85 in a heartbeat!

The service call was a waste of time. (It was prescheduled when I bought the car as a courtesy.) They did not have any 4.6's so no comparison drive. I didn't get the impression that they really looked at any of the items on my short-list, including the obvious windshield wiper thwap that is well-documented in another thread. I know Hyundai is not a lux dealer, but I thought they might pay a little more attention to Genesis owners but no such luck at my dealer. On the bright side there are two other dealers relatively close by so I have options.

Anyway, I guess this wraps up this thread. Thanks everyone for your feedback.
