  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi All -

I have a '16 Tech Pkg that I upgraded to be Carplay compatible when I bought it in April. A month or two ago it stopped reading incoming texts via Carplay. I can send them no problem, but it does not show new messages or read them. When I receive a new text the new text indicator displays for a split second, then goes to read (not allowing me to listen to it). I'm running iOS 13.3 on an iPhone X. I'm not sure if the issue coincided with an iOS update or not...

So far I have tried rebooting the phone, rebooting the head unit, and rebooting the head unit without the SD card and then again with the SD card reinstalled. The behavior is the same. I really don't know whether I should be going down an iOS path or a Genesis path.....

Thanks!
Liam
