1st time Genesis owner! Excited to be part of the group!

3 days ago I purchased my first Genesis, a 2023 GV70 2.5T, Advanced, with Barossa Burgundy paint, and a Vanilla Beige interior. When I first saw a picture of a GV70, it was in this color combination and I fell in love with it. I traded in 2 Lexus products, and while I will miss them, I have already developed an appreciation for Genesis design, build quality, and driving experience. This is my 46th car…..have been driving for 47 years……and have had 7 Lexus vehicles. I believe that Lexus has lost touch with their customer base, and that Genesis is (and has been) perfectly positioned to step in and fill the void. I consider myself a ’car guy’ and am really enjoying all the technology this vehicle has to offer. Having lots of fun programming and setting up all the various customizable features! Thanks for letting me join the group! I hope to learn, and to contribute, information about his great car/CUV/SUV over time!

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your brand new Genesis GV70! It sure is a beauty. I've been saying the same thing about Lexus. While I actually do like the whole Predator grille design, they have lost touch of what made them great in the first place. They were pure luxury, which is hard to find these days. To me, Genesis Motors is the new Lexus... But Lexus cars were never really all that attractive. So Genesis has the luxury AND the looks to go with it... A perfect combination...
