  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I started noticing the newer Genesis cars a few years ago and finally decided to buy one. Called our local dealer about a month ago only to find out that they did not have anything equipped the way I wanted but had one on order that was exactly what I thought I wanted (although I had never seen it one person) so I gave them a $1000 deposit and put my name on it. Last week they called to tell me it had arrived but had some minor paint scuffs on the front bumper from transport so I had to wait to pick it up. Got a call this past Friday telling me it was ready so I scheduled an appointment for Sunday morning. Overall experience was great. In and out in an hour and that's with having a trade in. Not sure what the plans are for it but I have never purchased a new car and not do any mods to it. For now I think I will enjoy it for a bit before going crazy.... lol

Anyways, here's my 2025 G70 3.3T AWD Sport Prestige in Savile Silver with red interior.

I am a big fan of contrasting interiors and interiors that are not black (It seems that most cars have black interiors and I recognize that they resist dirt but they seem so dark and somber to me). I have previously owned a grey car with red upholstery and I really like the combo. Your interior even matches the brake calipers!

I have made the move to an EV but if I were staying with an ICE vehicle, I think the one you have purchased would have been high on my list. Enjoy it and watch out for radar traps!

Agree on the contrasting colors which is why I went with the red interior. I had more pictures that I wanted to post but they were too large for this website to host. Besides, they would just look like what everyone else already posted of their red interior.... lol

Thanks! I traded in my 2021 RAM TRX that I daily drove for 3 years. I checked out the forum store and will be putting a list together soon.

Nice pickup! And that's a big change moving to the G70. From one extreme to another. I'm sure you're having a lot of fun driving the Genesis.
