  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello all!

I have a couple items for sale that came off my 2015 5.0 V8 Genesis sedan. The car was sold a long time ago, I have a Hellcat Charger now. If you need to verify my identity, my user name on the forum is "Hellcat439"

Megan Racing EZII Series Coilovers, $500:

Zenetti 20in forged wheels with Sumitomo HTR Z III tires, Front: 255/35/20 • 20 x 9, +35. Rear: 285/30/20 • 20 x 10.5, +45. The wheels poke a bit, so there's a couple rock chips here and there. Nothing too big and it's unnoticeable unless you run your finger on the rim. Will also include Sickspeed tuner lugnuts (with spikes) with wheel locks and key as well. These fit the sedan platform perfectly and looks great. Asking $1000 for the entire setup. Tires have a good amount of tread left.

X-pipe and Aero mufflers from Muffler Tech in Sacramento, these guys are legit. The mufflers and X-pipe are universal! Asking $200 for the setup.

I can ship at the buyers expense. All items are located in Sacramento, California. I can make a trip outside of Sacramento for the right serious buyer.

Take these off my hands please! Make me an offer!

Hi. Have you ever tried that exhaust set up with your car?

Yes, for a few hundred miles then the car sold. It sounds like an AMG C63, except deeper at WOT.
was it too loud and any drones?

Very slight drone if you're in ECO mode hunting gears. If you're in sport, no drone.

It's not obnoxiously loud because of the Aero mufflers. You're neighbors will not hate you. It's slightly louder than a stock C63 AMG is my best comparison.

I'm interested in the GT-S springs. What's your experience with them? Looking to put some 245/35/20 20x9 Think I'll have some rubbing issues?

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
How do i get in contact with you? I'd like to purchase them

your exhaust setup 2.5 inch or 3 inch?

just those sections or all the way through?

I'm not 100% sure, I'm leaning towards all the way through. These were a perfect fit for my 2015 V8 Genny and adds a really mean tone to the vehicle.

Damn!

Yes, I'm familiar with coilovers, but those springs on the AWD 3.8 look perfect. I've ridden in many cars with coilovers throughout the years and have always preferred springs and shocks/struts for the ride. Just out of curiosity, how did those coils ride versus the springs in your opinion?

I felt more confident going through turns and blasting through the mountains with coilovers vs springs. Since the Megan's were adjustable, if the ride was too harsh, I would adjust the setting and tone it down for city driving. Also, with Megan's I'm able to clear my driveway easier.

Springs look fantastic though, cheap and gives you the lowered look for car shows and events and eliminates that wheel gap.

You'll be back in Genesis, once that hellcat starts falling apart :grinlaugh:
