  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

While I’m betting this has been discussed before, whim not having much luck with the search box.

What size tire will fit on my 2009 4.6 with the factory 18” wheels? I’m running the stock 235/50r18s and I want to go with a bit taller sidewall. I’ve been looking at 235/55r18 but now I’m wondering if I can step up to 245/55r18 without any rubbing or wear issues.

Please post any pictures of bigger tires you’re running.

Thanks in advance!

I ran 235/55/18 when I bought 4 used tires to replace my bald ones to make it through 3 rainy months before I bought my new wheels.. no rub your speedo will be off by about 1-2 mph over 60mph and to me it felt a little floaty fro my taste but I drive spirited so for someone just going from A to B youd be fine
