  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I am getting ready to sell my 2009 Genesis Sedan with Premium and Navigation packages and want to set all my personal settings to factory default settings, ie, get rid of personal contacts, phone numbers, destinations, etc. I would appreciate some "how to" information on doing this.

Thanks,

Bruce

P. S. Replacing the Genesis with a 2013 Audi A6. I hate to give up the Genesis as it has been a great drive but wanted a new look and the Genesis will not have major changes until next year.

The new 2015 are about to hit the show rooms soon, but anyways.

Not to familiar yet! But you can go into the Bluetooth setting and delete your phone.

Well for Tech (DIS) there are "delete all" options in the DIS manual for both phone book (p 169) and navigation destinations (p 224).

RT<premium>M might get you something like this:

You might want to take a look at this before pulling the trigger on that Audi. Coming out in May of 2014...
