  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

To all you Genesis groupies I think there is nothing to compare to the style and uniqueness of the 2009 Genesis. I still on a daily bases receive stares and questions and compliments on "What kind of Car is that???"woos it really nice.
I personally think the 2015 style is sub standard to the first generation Genesis.
My opinion, what is yours.

I've had both and liked both. The 2g seems like a logical development as a revised model, but maybe that's cuz I see it everyday. I don't think the 2g takes anything away from the 1g at all. IMO they're both good looking cars.

Lucky u ckon! Agree kev4.(especially in black!!) The 1g looks expensive and classy(S class) and rare which I like. 2g looks sporty(A7?)to me. I like them both as well. (I mistaken a 2015 Sonata with the new Genesis the other day, they look alike from a distance.)

IMO, one place the 2g excels is a profile view. I think both are beautiful from many angles but the long hood, longer wheelbase and short trunk give the 2 a distinctly elegant look, especially in black with a nice tint. Of course, I may be a little bit biased. :)
