  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey guys, need some opinions. I've found a 2010 genesis coupe 3.8 grand touring model cheap as it's got higher miles ..130k. One owner clean carfax and always serviced at Hyundai dealer. Was told the owner did business in Florida and preferred to drive so explains mileage. What are your thoughts.. Ive got a 2011 sonata 2.0 turbo as the family hauler and love it but always wanted a genesis ya or nay. Thanks all

What's the price if I may ask?

Best thing on your favor is you know the car is clean, as he been doing just regular maintain ex or has he been doing his major services also? Including 15k/30k exc.. The dealer and pull the history for you.
Another thing is that's it's mostly highway mileage then, and that he was a business man, most likely never did anything to the car like coils or anything to the engine.

Might seem like a good buy depending on price

Dealer has had it since December and wants to move it ..priced at 10,800 salesman I spoke to said if I offered around 9500 they'd probably let it go. No mods bone stock except for k&n drop in air filter

Try also posting on the coupe forum, might get some relevant responses there from high-mileage owners.

If it is an auto which I think it is (grand touring) then it comes with an ZF transmission and OP said the car's been maintained by Hyundai then all the likelihoods it should be good.
I'd say go for it if you really wanted it.

Went and test drove the car today and decided to pass.. It was a little rough for my tastes guess I'll keep looking. Thanks guys
