  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Does anyone know the color of the wire for the amp on the harness hooks up to the radio? This is the tech nav harness 2010 4.6. I have looked everywhere. YouTube. I found a site that had the pin layout but the data doesn’t match the wire layout.

I believe it’s one of those wires near the red. Brown on or the one next to it.

It’s driving me nuts!

Owned this car since 2010. Currently 115K miles. Want to drive to forever and installed a new radio.

Thanks!

Find the thread with the link to download the manual. The manual has the wiring in it.

Thank you!!!!!

I think the one you posted is the one with the touchscreen navy. Seems to be way more info on this one. The one with the knob in the middle which I have. Ghost town on the internet.

Head unit pinouts from my 2012 tech manual are below. I couldn't find an amp pinout that was different from the one WestPennGen posted (which appears to be premium trim also shown in my manual). No wire colors are shown in my manual unfortunately, and it doesn't do a great job of identifying trims, but DIS = Tech trim so here ya go:

You rock! I was able to download the manual also.

It’s interesting that the other head unit calls out the amp power. But on the tech trim just has audio L and Audio R and audio GND.

I’m wondering now if I have to just bring the power to both audio L and R. Will probably try one first to see if I get sound.
