  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 2010 Genesis 4.6 with approximately 97,000 miles. It recently began blowing hot air from 2 driver side vents and freezing cold air from the passenger side 2 vents in auto and manual modes. I've followed all required maintenance schedule but AC was never an issue and there was no service to date on AC system. I haven't taken the vehicle to the dealer for diagnostics yet. Does anyone know what the cause is or has anyone had similar issue?

I recall seeing threads about this, and some fairly recently. It believe it is some kind of actuator that controls the vents that needs to be replaced. Do a search and see if you can find it.

Thank you for the reply. I found a few threads about the issue and it looks like the problem is the Drivers side Temperature control actuator.

So what’s the fix like I have an ‘09 started doing that not hot air but not as cold as the passenger or rear a/c

Anyone have a part number and where it is located? The driver temperature control module.

Thanks!
